My energy is WAY off balance. I would love to channel this energy, however I can’t seem to get it straightened out. Crazy things happen when energy is wacky. This is a metaphysical technique. Grounding and centering doesn’t seem to be enough.
I would find someone who is experienced in healing therapy.
I’ve just recently gotten my level one attunement to reiki and now I just seem to want to read everything I can find on the topic. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good sites besides the standard google results that have quality information about reiki?
I would also love to exchange ideas and info with any other reiki practitioners and hopefully build a small group of friends who share the same interests as me.
I took an introductory course in animal Reiki from Kathleen Prasad at Brighthaven Sanctuary.
She has a website at: http://animalreikisource.com and a Yahoo group called animalreikisource. Many members of her group send Reiki to animals and their owners.
I learned that another person is doing animal Reiki at the local shelter and will be meeting with her this afternoon to get started with the animals there.
I already downloaded some free mp3music (Reiki and meditation) and there is no way I can burn them to a disk as it says that they are unable to find the items but they aresaved in my music. What can I do as in this page everything is a problem
try to open open Itunes and then ADD file to Library, for my PC, that works even if it is saved on my music..

i am going to get a tattoo in a few weeks and i have come across the reiki symbols, "Om" and "Shanti" i really like them but not sure if its a good or bad thing to actually use these symbols and or have them tattooed on my body so what i am wondering is pretty much "who, what, where, when, why, and how" about these symbols. for example, "who uses these symbols?" "what exactly are they used for?" "where are they used?" ETC… ect… i just wanna make sure that getting these symbols tattooed are a good idea before i get them, and where do they originate from?
these arent my first tattoos, i have others. Doesnt the "Om" symbol mean God and his creation?
Both Om (yes, praise, or joining) & Shanti (inner peace) are Sanskrit words.Before you get them permanently inked into your skin, it might be a good idea to do some actual research on the complete symbolism of the words. Tats are forever.
I have heard about reiki healing techniques are very effective.I want to know what they are ?
It’s a study of self healing, meditation, and the laying on of hands. Just google it, there is alot of information online regarding reiki, yoga, chakra meditation, etc.

I am assuming you have bowel problems. If so, try a good natural laxative, such as, coconut, fresh fruit, prunes, berries. corn and, being an American I find that sauerkraut works quite well.

Reiki is very easy to learn – even a small child could do it!
However it DOES require a direct attunement (whether in-person or via distance) from a Reiki Master.
You can certainly gather most of the basic material from books, however learning directly through interaction with a Reiki Master is the most expedient and effective way of becoming a proficient Reiki practitioner. There’s lots of little tips and subtle nuances to Reiki practice which can be learned very readily from an instructor, but will take you some time to figure out on your own.
My advice would be to find a local Reiki Master to train in-person with. This is the #1 best option. If you can’t find anyone locally, then try and find a thorough and in-depth online program that involves many hours of practicals and constant interaction and communication with the Reiki Master througout the training. Make sure to research the program and the teacher very well, as there are alot of online "training" things out there that are useless (i.e. you send them your money, they say they send the attunements, and then they just ship you the manuals and the certificates proclaiming you a Reiki Master, when you’ve had no actual training, hands-on practice, or interaction with a teacher).
Don’t let price be your only guide. Certainly search for something affordable, but generally reliable Reiki training will range from $80-$200 for Reiki I or Reiki II, and then Mastership is generally between $200-500 for a good class. Keeping that in mind, and making sure to ask for references, will help you find a good teacher.
I’m very interested in taking reiki classes. But here in Illinois I cant find anywhere that teaches it. The nearest place is in Iowa. I have found online classes that teach it. But I read that getting the attunment from distance learning is not as good as getting attuned in person. Is that true? Any other info would be helpful too. I would love to make a living helping people but I just cant find a whole lot of info for anything around here. Thanx!

Reiki therapy can only be learned from a Reiki Master in person not from distance learning or from any book.

Reiki wouldn’t help you to conceive unless there was a problem with your reproductive organs. I’ve heard of the stuff. It’s worth a try just make sure you go to an actual apothecary for the herbs.
What about the medicine Buhdda? I believe I’m on a path of light and humbleness I’m just asking for guidance.
I’m currently using Usui Reiki Ryoho myself. I don’t know much about the two you asked about, though I have heard of them. There are so many different systems out there, it’s ridiculous. There’s a few others I’m interested in (Kundalini, Golden Triangle, Shamballa, etc), but don’t feel ready at the moment. Below I will post a link to a forum that I frequent.
